About The Bronx Defenders
The Bronx Defenders is a transformative public defender nonprofit organization that is dedicated to providing high-quality legal representation to low-income individuals in the Bronx. Their mission is to revolutionize the way people from disadvantaged backgrounds are represented in the justice system. Using their groundbreaking holistic defense model, they have achieved better outcomes for their clients, defending 27,000 low-income residents each year in criminal, civil, child welfare, and immigration cases.
In addition to legal services, The Bronx Defenders offer community intake and outreach programs to reach out to even more individuals in need.
