Bronx Little Italy

Bronx Little Italy is the historic Arthur Avenue neighborhood in Belmont, the Bronx, known for its Italian culture, family-owned businesses, and long-standing food traditions. For more than a century, local merchants have offered visitors and residents an authentic community experience, with world-class restaurants, artisanal food shops, specialty stores, and trusted local services. Shoppers can find fine goods, handmade products, and items sourced locally and from abroad, while restaurants and cafés serve the neighborhood’s varied culinary offerings.

The Belmont Business Improvement District (BID) represents property owners and commercial tenants committed to supporting business development and enhancing quality of life in the area. Its work includes supplemental sanitation and public safety services, marketing, advocacy, and efforts to preserve the neighborhood’s character. Bronx Little Italy’s official website helps people explore the area through merchant and business service directories, neighborhood history, attractions, recipes, event announcements, directions, and maps. The site also promotes community gatherings, including the annual Ferragosto festival, and provides information for visitors, businesses, and prospective tenants.
