Brookledge is a unique and charming brand located in Middle Grove, NY. We pride ourselves on being a nature getaway rather than a luxury hotel. If you're searching for a place with opulent amenities and fancy furnishings, that's not us.
However, if you appreciate the beauty of stars in the sky, lush trees, and a cozy bed, then you've found your perfect retreat. Once a Girls Camp called Girls Inc., Brookledge still retains many of the original buildings, pavilions, bathhouses, and trails, adding to its historical charm. When you step outside, you'll be greeted by the delightful sight of chipmunks scurrying amidst the trees.
They've been here longer than us and pay rent in acorns! Prepare to be enticed by our camp showers, complete with concrete floors, cast-iron sinks, and screen windows. It may sound unconventional, but trust us, they are the best! The night sky will mesmerize you with its millions of glittering stars. Take a walk and immerse yourself in the beauty of deer tracks and the soothing sound of the creek.
At Brookledge, there are plenty of activities to enjoy. Whether it's playing cornhole, snowshoeing, fishing, or engaging in an epic game of tag, there's something for everyone. The floating dock offers adventures on the green monster (canoe), while evenings are best spent bonding with loved ones around a campfire, complete with S'mores.
If you're in the mood for relaxation, visit our library and unwind in our hammocks. Our accommodations, including the lodge, cabin, and tents, are adorned with vintage treasures sourced from the property and local antique stores. While some come with bathrooms, others utilize the nostalgic bathhouses that are simply the coolest! If you're the kind of person who cherishes flannel shirts, adores guitar solos, and can't resist petting a dog, Brookledge is the perfect haven for you.
We don't want you to be just a renter; we want you to be our guest. So, pull up an Adirondack chair, grab a root beer, and join us in experiencing the magic of Brookledge. Welcome, my friend!
