Brooklyn Book Festival is the largest free literary festival in New York City, dedicated to bringing together book lovers and authors. This annual event, established in 2006, showcases an incredible lineup of both local and international authors who represent the diverse and dynamic literary community of the city. The festival prides itself on being hip, smart, diverse, and this motto is at the heart of its mission to create a forward-thinking and inclusive literary event.

The festival takes place in Downtown Brooklyn, with various venues hosting bookend events throughout the five boroughs. In addition to the in-person festival, there is also a virtual festival day to accommodate authors and audiences who cannot attend in person. Families can enjoy Children's Day, where children have the opportunity to meet their favorite authors and participate in workshops and performances.

Whether you are an avid reader, aspiring writer, or simply interested in immersing yourself in the world of literature, the Brooklyn Book Festival is a must-attend event.
