Brooklyn Girl Fishing

Brooklyn Girl Fishing is a family-run charter fishing business based in Orient Point, on Long Island’s eastern tip. Capt. Ken Holmes brings more than three decades of experience at the helm, supported by a skilled, friendly crew, while Barbara Holmes manages bookings and scheduling. Their goal is to deliver a clean, comfortable and memorable fishing trip on local waters known for strong currents, varied bottom structure and opportunities to catch striped bass, bluefish, blackfish, fluke, sea bass and scup.

Trips depart from Duryeas Marina in Orient aboard the Brooklyn Girl, a 2019 custom-built, USCG-inspected 50-foot vessel with a spacious walk-around deck, modern navigation and fish-finding equipment, and extensive safety gear. The boat accommodates private groups and split-charter passengers. Options include half-day and full-day local trips, evening striped bass and bluefish outings, blackfish charters, and extended ocean or Block Island trips.
