Brook Static is an asset and media delivery service designed for small product teams. It delivers images, scripts, fonts, and video segments through a network of 12 edge locations, with a stated monthly uptime of 99.98%. The service uses HTTP/2 and TLS 1.3 throughout.

Brook Static works through origin pull: customers point a hostname to their storage bucket or server, and the service fetches, caches, and revalidates content without requiring a separate upload step. Its caching approach respects the Cache-Control instructions supplied by the customer, helping teams keep control over how their assets are stored and served. Customers can also purge cached content by path or prefix.

For video delivery, Brook Static supports range requests and chunked transfers, with delivery tuned for HLS and progressive playback. The service is positioned as a straightforward option for teams seeking to deliver static assets and media without ongoing infrastructure babysitting. Its offerings bring asset delivery, caching, cache management, and video segment delivery together in one service.
