The Brookwood Community is a God-centered nonprofit residential and vocational community for adults with disabilities. Founded in 1983, it occupies a 485-acre campus in Brookshire, Texas, west of Houston, and works to change the way the world thinks about adults with disabilities. Brookwood offers residential life, vocational work programs, spiritual activities, sports, fine arts, and health and wellness support, alongside tours and learning opportunities for visitors.
