Brothers Beer is a brand that stems from a friendship forged over a shared love for beer. Andy and Ant, the founders, met over a beer and eventually decided to start a business together. Andy, with his extensive experience in the beer industry, had always dreamt of having a brewery in his hometown.

Ant, drawn to craft beer and all things enjoyable in life, joined Andy on this exciting venture. Their aim was clear: to create a brewery that offered not only their own brews but also a wide selection of beers from around the world. They wanted to go beyond the usual golden lagers and brown ales and provide a unique and diverse experience for beer enthusiasts.

After months of planning, construction, and creation, Brothers Beer opened its Retail Store and Beer Tasting Lounge in December 2012. As their popularity grew, they expanded their operations, opening Juke Joint, a smokehouse and expanded brewery in Mt Eden. They also started bottling their beer, making it available in the finest restaurants, cafes, bars, and bottle shops throughout Auckland.

Continuing their journey, Brothers Beer established their presence in Orakei's Barrel Room, the old Post Office in Onehunga, and recently opened their flagship venue in the bustling Harbour Eats at Commercial Bay.
