About Broug
Eric Broug is a renowned author, educator, and artist who specializes in Islamic geometric design. With over 25 years of experience in this field, Eric is deeply passionate about the creative and educational opportunities that Islamic architecture and design offer to a wide range of audiences. His groundbreaking book, Islamic Geometric Patterns, has empowered thousands of readers worldwide, teaching them how to draw patterns just as craftsmen have done for centuries.
Eric holds an MA degree in the History of Islamic art and architecture from the prestigious School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) in London, and he also studied at the Prince's School of Traditional Arts. He actively conducts workshops and delivers lectures globally, sharing his knowledge and expertise. Additionally, Eric serves as a consultant in various educational and design projects in the Middle East and other regions.
