Brown Boys Benefit

Brown Boys Benefit is a Minnesota nonprofit founded by parents whose experiences with premature birth and the NICU inspired them to support other families facing similar challenges. In honor of their sons, Colton and Ryland, the organization works to help families and babies across the state navigate the fear, stress, and financial pressures of a neonatal intensive care stay. Its mission is to support NICU care and provide practical resources to mothers, families, and babies.

The organization funds NICU Family Support Programs at M Health Fairview Masonic Children’s Hospital, Children’s Minnesota hospitals in St. Paul and Minneapolis, and Mercy Hospital in Coon Rapids. Its initiatives also include support for breast milk equity, lactation care kits, and perinatal mental health. Brown Boys Benefit offers hospital and family grants, which can help provide financial assistance, holiday gifts, and flowers for NICU mothers. The nonprofit raises funds through donations, sponsorships, events, and community activities, including its annual chef’s dinner, charity country concert, and pickleball tournament.
