Bruce Black Art is a brand that showcases the talent of Arizona artist Bruce Black. Through his artwork, Bruce captures the beauty of the southwest by drawing inspiration from the stunning landscapes, skies, deserts, and mountains that surround him. With a passion for nature, Bruce infuses the colors and textures of the natural world into every painting he creates.

Recently, he has been re-studying oil painting techniques associated with the master painters of the Baroque and Impressionist eras, resulting in stronger and more lasting images that truly capture the essence of the southwest. Bruce's art education emphasized expression, but he has also found joy in learning traditional painting techniques passed down through generations. With a Bachelor of Fine Art from the University of Arizona and a Masters of Fine Art from the University of Delaware, Bruce's talent is backed by a solid foundation of knowledge.

As an Arizona resident, Bruce is proud to call the southwest his home, where he lives with his wife Marla and their son Liam. When he's not in the studio, Bruce enjoys teaching art to high school students, golfing, and exploring the desert. Experience Bruce Black's original southwestern inspired paintings and be captivated by the colors and beauty of the southwest.
