About Brugge Centraal
Brugge Centraal is a music and cultural festival presented by Cactus Muziekcentrum on behalf of the City of Bruges. Running from 5 to 13 August 2026, it brings a varied programme of live music and dancing to venues across Bruges’ historic city centre. The festival is designed to connect internationally established performers, emerging musical voices and an open-minded audience, with experiences ranging from energetic outdoor shows to intimate seated concerts.
Brugge Centraal Open Air takes place at the Burg on 7 August, offering a free music festival featuring pop artists known for lively performances. Benenwerk, held on 8 August, is a free dance event spread across 13 stages throughout the city centre. The Brugge Centraal Concerts are set against the historic Gruuthuse Palace, where selected Belgian and international artists perform for seated audiences. The 2026 programme includes artists such as Raymond van het Groenewoud, Tom McRae Trio, Kraantje Pappie, ’t Hof van Commerce, S10, Blu Samu and Alfa Mist. The festival provides programme information, schedules and ticket details.
