Bruin Racing is a student organization in UCLA's Samueli School of Engineering and Applied Science. Our goal is to create an environment where UCLA students can get hands-on engineering experience to prepare them for the workforce and to give our members an opportunity to apply what they've learned in the classroom. Over the course of a school year, our members design, manufacture, test, and compete single-seat vehicles, getting experience in every stage of the engineering process.

Bruin Racing is a student organization within UCLA’s Samueli School of Engineering and Applied Science. It gives UCLA students a collaborative setting to apply classroom learning and build practical engineering experience in preparation for the workforce. Across the academic year, members take part in the complete vehicle development process: they design, manufacture, test, and compete single-seat vehicles.
This work exposes participants to multiple stages of engineering, from developing a design through evaluating and refining a vehicle. Bruin Racing organizes its activities through three teams: Baja SAE, Formula, and Supermileage. These teams provide opportunities for students interested in vehicle engineering to contribute to hands-on projects and competition.
The organization also lists outreach among its club activities and invites prospective members to explore its teams. Based at UCLA in Los Angeles, Bruin Racing is a place for students to gain practical experience while working together on engineering challenges.
