Brulocalis

Brulocalis is a nonprofit association serving the local authorities of the Brussels-Capital Region. Formerly known as the Association of the City and Municipalities of the Brussels-Capital Region, it was established and is managed by those authorities. Its work supports municipalities and public social welfare centres across a wide range of local responsibilities, including urban planning, housing, mobility, public safety, social services, employment, environmental policy and digital transformation.

The association provides practical resources and expertise to help local officials carry out their responsibilities. Its offerings include guidance sheets, legal and policy analyses, model documents, good-practice examples, training sessions and information events. Brulocalis also shares updates on legislation, funding opportunities, municipal affairs and issues affecting Brussels communities. Through its publications, including Trait d’Union and specialist mobility and sustainable development monitors, it informs and supports local decision-making. The organisation represents local interests, contributes policy advice and facilitates the exchange of experience among municipalities. Its Brussels Federation of Public Social Welfare Centres provides additional resources and information for CPAS services.
