Thru My African Lens Photography and Tours

Thru My African Lens Photography and Tours is the photography business of Bruna Mentrup-Nortje, an acclaimed South African wildlife photographer, LPSSA Honours holder and PSSA-accredited judge. Inspired by the African bush, its landscapes, light and wildlife, Bruna combines field experience with a passion for teaching others to create meaningful images. Her work has received national and local awards and has appeared in magazines and at game lodges across Africa.

The business offers digital photography courses for wildlife enthusiasts, including in-person workshops, day excursions, online learning and instruction in editing wildlife and bird photographs in Lightroom. Clients can also join wildlife photography game drives, safaris and weekend trips. Photography services extend to weddings and functions, while wildlife images are offered as durable prints for homes and offices. Bruna also provides digital marketing services and lodge styling, using wildlife photography to help lodges reflect their natural surroundings. Through courses and mentoring, she supports photographers in developing their technical skills and confidence, while inviting clients to experience Africa through her visual journeys.
