Bryn Mawr Film Institute (BMFI) is a nonprofit movie theater and film education center located in Bryn Mawr, PA, just outside of Philadelphia. With four screens and a diverse selection of films, including independent, international, documentary, alternative, classic, and new releases, BMFI attracts nearly 200,000 patrons each year, including 9,000 dedicated members. BMFI offers a range of experiences for film enthusiasts, such as movie screenings, special events, guest speakers, film courses, and interactive programs.

They are equipped with 21st-century digital technology for new releases but also take the opportunity to project classic, rare, and archival prints on 35mm film. Housed in the meticulously restored Seville Theatre, originally built in 1926, BMFI offers a boutique movie-going experience that combines classic art house style with state-of-the-art projection, sound, and seating. At BMFI, they strive to entertain, engage, and educate their audiences while fostering a vibrant film community
