Brede School Kwintijn is a public school and childcare centre in Raalte, the Netherlands, bringing education and care together at Oude Molenweg 3. Around 100 children aged three months to 13 years meet there each day to play, learn, and explore their talents and creativity. The school aims to create a supportive environment where children are encouraged to discover what they can do, with teachers and parents helping them find answers to real-life questions.

Primary education at Kwintijn follows the Jeelo approach, which connects learning to the real world. Children explore engaging themes, investigate how things work, and put what they learn into practice. The school’s values include learning and living together, discovering and using individual talents, developing a sense of identity, and showing respect for oneself, others, and the world.

Services on site include primary education, Kinderdagverblijf Jottem childcare, BSO Sterk after-school care, and Jottem preschool activities. The preschool programme supports young children’s development through play.
