The British Society for Oral and Dental Research (BSODR) is a UK registered charity dedicated to advancing research and knowledge to improve oral health. It supports and represents the UK oral health research community, encourages dentally and scientifically qualified early-career researchers to enter the field, and helps share and apply findings on oral health and its links with systemic health. The Society also promotes international research collaboration through its connection with the International Association for Dental, Oral and Craniofacial Research (IADR) and the Pan European Region federation.
With roots extending to British research meetings in London in 1931, BSODR has a long history and holds an annual meeting, alternating between UK venues and joint events with European partners. Its programme includes opportunities for early-career researchers, research groups, awards and prizes, and a blog featuring contributions from committee members and members.
