Behavior Support Systems Of Virginia

Behavior Support Systems of Virginia provides personalized, compassionate behavioral support for children, with services described for ages 2–18 and a specialized focus on early childhood. Its mission is to help each learner build socially meaningful skills through individualized, whole-child Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), while respecting dignity and involving families. Treatment supports communication, relationships, play, social participation, and everyday independence, with opportunities to practice skills across settings.

Services include early intervention, a practice preschool, school-aged ABA intervention, and consultation. The preschool offers a structured, sensory-friendly environment with play-based learning and integrated speech and occupational therapy. Clinic sessions use both private learning areas and shared spaces for play, movement, and social interaction. In-home and community-based support helps children and caregivers generalize skills in daily routines and natural settings, including daycares, camps, parks, and recreation programs.

The organization also offers afterschool social skills groups for children in kindergarten through second grade and plans inclusive Saturday social groups for fall 2026. Families can contact the team to discuss goals or arrange a preschool tour.
