The International Conference for Young Scientists on Biorefinery Technologies and Products "BTechPro!" aims to promote the professional development of early career researchers and to establish contacts between research groups working on biomass processing challenges. The conference is not only a platform for the participants to present their scientific work, give and get feedback from peers, listen to interesting plenary lectures, and submit a full-length article, but also a possibility to actively take part in workshops and participate in match-making activities. All research related to different aspects of valorisation and characterisation of biomass is welcome, but the main topics of the conference are: - Biomass feedstock pre-treatment - Biomass processing and extraction - Biomass-based materials - Bioengineering technologies - Synthesis of bio-based chemicals and polymers - Characterisation of biorefinery products - Bioeconomy and environmental aspects Don't hesitate to BTechPro!

About BTechPro! Conference
BTechPro! is an International Conference for Young Scientists focusing on Biorefinery Technologies and Products. Held biannually, the event aims to foster the professional growth of early career researchers and facilitate connections among groups tackling biomass processing challenges. The latest conference took place on April 24-26, 2024, in Riga, Latvia, with the next edition scheduled for April 2026.
Participants are encouraged to engage actively by presenting their research, receiving feedback, attending plenary lectures and workshops, joining social and networking activities, touring LSIWC laboratories, and submitting full-length papers.
