Breakthrough Mountain Adventures (BTMA) is a mountain guiding company offering privately led expeditions and climbing programs in Peru and Patagonia. Its internationally trained and certified guides draw on decades of experience in the Andes and remote mountain regions, combining professional standards with deep local knowledge. Small teams and individual attention shape each trip, with a focus on safety, preparation, skill progression and meaningful time outdoors.

In Peru, BTMA runs high-altitude expeditions, glacier travel and remote trekking in the Cordillera Blanca and Huayhuash, including opportunities to pursue alpine summits. In Patagonia, its adventures include horse expeditions through the Cochamó Valley, wilderness trekking and granite big-wall climbing. The company also offers structured courses, skills training and mentorship for rock, alpine, traditional and big-wall climbing, as well as long-term progression programs.

Each expedition is personally planned around participants’ experience, goals and ambitions, with preparation guidance to help them arrive ready for the challenge.
