BioTrans Nordic

BTN Waste is a Scandinavian provider of end-to-end solutions for handling and recycling organic waste, particularly food waste from businesses. Its services are designed to make waste management more hygienic and efficient, improve workplace conditions, and support customers’ environmental and financial goals. BTN’s offering includes the BioMaster food-waste grinder, BioTank storage, grease separators, operating agreements, accessories, and customer support with video guides and self-help resources.

With BTN’s system, food waste is collected and transported to a nearby biogas facility, where it is converted into biogas and fertiliser. The company says its BioTank is emptied when full, helping reduce unnecessary collections and associated CO₂ emissions. Recycling also returns nutrients to the soil and supports a circular use of resources. Customers can access information about their recycling volumes for ESG reporting, and BTN provides pricing tools, process guidance, and service information. Businesses across Denmark, including hotels, schools, and sustainability-focused venues, use its solutions to simplify daily waste handling and strengthen their environmental efforts. BTN is based in Odense, Denmark.
