B. Travis Wright

B. Travis Wright, MPS, is a Colorado historian, technology leader, preservation advocate, author, and public speaker whose work connects research, responsible technology, and risk management. He is known for his writing and advocacy focused on Rollins Pass and the Moffat Tunnel, including the books Rollins Pass: Images of America, Rollins Pass: Postcards of America, and Rollins Pass: Past and Present.

Through co-founded initiative Preserve Rollins Pass, he works to protect the region’s historic and cultural resources, collaborating with archaeologists, Tribal leaders, land managers, and other experts. His preservation services and activities include field research, Section 106 guidance, landmark designation work, public advocacy, and presentations. Wright also advises organizations as an Enterprise vCIO, helping align IT strategy with mission objectives, security, and operational risk.

His technology leadership experience spans cybersecurity, infrastructure, procedures, and team development. As an FAA Part 107-certified drone pilot and FAA Safety Team DronePro, he provides public education on airspace rules, liability, and safe operations. A Colorado Preservation, Inc
