Brazilian Top Team (BTT) Damascus is a locally and family-owned Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu academy serving the Damascus, Oregon community. The academy is part of Brazilian Top Team, an organization specializing in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and mixed martial arts. Founded in April 2000 by Murilo Bustamante, Ricardo Libório, Mário Sperry, and Luis Roberto Duarte, the team was established to develop training techniques for Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, submission grappling, and mixed martial arts.
BTT Damascus is led by Coach Patrick, a fourth-degree Brazilian Top Team black belt who has practiced Jiu-Jitsu since 1999. His background also includes more than eight years of competitive wrestling and a decade as a professional MMA fighter and coach.
