Buchies creates personalized hardcover children’s books that place a child at the center of an illustrated story. Customers choose a book, then upload photos and provide names and a dedication through a personal link. They can select from eight illustration styles, and review and approve all illustrations before the book is printed. Depending on the story, books can also feature family members, friends, pets or favorite soft toys.

The collection includes Christmas adventures, family stories, birthday and school-start books, bedtime tales, and themes such as friendship and fantasy. Stories are written for reading aloud to children around two to eight years old, with warm, playful narratives and thoughtful messages. Some books are designed for the whole family, while the Advent title “Knöpfchen zieht ein” offers 24 chapters, one for each evening before Christmas.

Buchies presents its books as keepsake gifts for parents, grandparents, godparents and others. Its website also offers a book finder, ordering guidance and answers to common questions.
