Buckeye Tigers

Buckeye Tigers is an Ohio tax-exempt organization focused on helping young people explore aviation and aerospace. Its programs introduce students to the possibilities of flight, technology, and related careers through hands-on learning and opportunities to discover how the aerospace field works. Activities described by participants include assembling and flying drones, building rockets, learning about Air Force jobs during visits to a base, and developing teamwork and leadership skills.

The organization highlights the OBAP ACE Academy, a multi-day event for middle and high school students with a general interest in aviation. Buckeye Tigers presents its work as a way to help the next generation build knowledge, confidence, and connections while exploring future paths in aerospace. Its website also features partner organizations, events, and ways for supporters to contribute through donations or by signing up to help. Buckeye Tigers aims to make aviation more accessible and inspiring, encouraging students to turn their curiosity about flight and technology into practical learning experiences.
