Bucks Buzzing

The Buckinghamshire & Milton Keynes Natural Environment Partnership (NEP) serves as the Local Nature Partnership dedicated to enhancing the natural landscape of the region. By uniting a diverse network of individuals, organizations, and businesses, the NEP drives positive change and emphasizes the importance of the natural environment in local decision-making. Focused on biodiversity, green infrastructure, and sustainable planning, the partnership champions habitat restoration and encourages community involvement through initiatives like the Local Nature Recovery Strategy (LNRS).

One of its key initiatives, "Bucks Buzzing," promotes the conservation of pollinators by encouraging local residents to cultivate wildflowers, enhance hedgerows, and create habitats for insects. The NEP also publishes critical resources, including biodiversity action plans and strategic opportunity maps, supporting long-term environmental goals. Through collaborative efforts, the NEP aims for a thriving natural ecosystem that benefits both the community and local wildlife, paving the way for a greener, healthier future in Buckinghamshire and Milton Keynes.
