Buck Trout Outfitters

Bucktrout Outfitters is a Wyoming-based, full-service trout fishing outfitter offering guided fly-fishing trips for newcomers and experienced anglers alike. Its guides lead adventures on the North Platte, Bighorn, and Sweetwater Rivers, with year-round trips available on the North Platte and Bighorn tailwaters. The company presents its outings as personalized experiences, with guides handling trip needs and sharing knowledge of local rivers, fish, insects, weather, and changing conditions.

Guests can choose day trips, often involving longer floats and early starts, or explore a range of tailwater destinations with different water types, access options, and target fish. Bucktrout also provides regularly updated fishing reports and resources to help anglers understand current conditions. The team emphasizes Wyoming’s productive blue-ribbon streams and the opportunity to encounter sizable trout, including rainbow trout that may average 16 to 18 inches. Whether clients want to build confidence, improve their skills, or enjoy a day on the water, Bucktrout Outfitters aims to make each trip memorable, engaging, and well guided.
