BuddhaNet is an online Buddhist information and education resource that helps people explore Buddhist communities, teachings, and culture. Its World Buddhist Directory provides contact information for Buddhist organisations, centres, temples, and teachers across regions including the Americas, Asia, Europe, Africa and the Middle East, Australia, New Zealand, and the Pacific. Visitors can browse or search listings by country and province, and organisations can submit or update their information.

Alongside the directory, BuddhaNet offers extensive learning materials for a broad audience. Resources include introductory Buddhism guides, online study programs, materials for schools, Buddhist scriptures, teachings, and content on history and culture. Its digital library covers general Buddhism, meditation, Theravada, Mahayana, Tibetan, and Zen or Chan traditions, with eBooks, audio, study files, artwork, and other downloadable resources. The site also features articles, magazines, children’s content, multimedia, Buddhist art and photography, and information about Bodhi Tree Monastery, including news, retreats, and donation options. Together, these services make BuddhaNet a directory and educational hub for Buddhist study, practice, and community discovery.
