Budo Kampfsport Akademie is a martial arts school in Hamburg-Bergedorf, offering training that combines physical fitness, practical skills and personal development. Founded by karate and kickboxing coach Ibo Günes, the academy brings traditional martial arts together with a modern approach and a welcoming community. Its courses serve beginners, experienced practitioners and competitive athletes, with options for children from age three, teenagers and adults.
Training includes karate, kickboxing, boxing and self-defence. Children can take part in playful Panda and Samurai programmes, while older students can choose fitness, self-defence or competition training. The academy also offers women’s self-defence classes. Across its programmes, instructors emphasise respect, discipline, courage and teamwork alongside technique and conditioning.
The main dojo in Bergedorf features modern training areas and a lounge. Partnerships with TSG Bergedorf extend activities to locations including the TSG-Forum and KISS-Land Wentorf. Prospective members can review the course schedule and request a free trial session to find a suitable class.
