Budocan

Budocan Frankfurt 1983 e. V. is a Frankfurt-based sports club offering training in boxing, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ), grappling and NoGi BJJ, and Ju Jutsu. Its training groups welcome people of all ages, fitness levels, backgrounds, and identities, with members sharing a passion for martial arts and training together in a friendly, respectful environment.

The club provides a varied weekly schedule, including beginner and advanced grappling sessions, Gi BJJ classes, boxing, Ju Jutsu, and open-mat sessions by arrangement. Newcomers can attend up to three trial sessions free of charge before membership is required. BJJ trial training is available without advance registration; prospective boxing and grappling participants are asked to contact the relevant instructors.

Training takes place in a dojo with approximately 140 square metres of mat space, plus a separate entrance area with seating. Separate changing rooms for women and men, each with showers, are available. The club emphasizes respectful conduct, safe practice, and hygiene, and asks participants to follow instructors’ directions and training guidelines.
