Budokan

Ju-Jitsuklubben Budokan is a self-defence and fitness club based in Randers, Denmark. Founded in 1991, the club welcomes children from age seven and adults, with training suited to beginners, recreational participants and those seeking a more intensive workout. Its focus is on learning practical self-defence while improving fitness in an enjoyable, safe training environment.

Budokan offers three types of classes: Ju-Jitsu, featuring effective self-defence; Budokids, which introduces children to self-defence in an age-appropriate way; and Budo4All, a format without throws or takedowns. There is no upper age limit, and participants do not need to be fit before they start. Prospective members can attend a free trial session before deciding whether to join.

The club trains at its own facilities on Messingvej, which include changing rooms, toilets and a shower, as well as a lounge where visitors can watch training. Budokan also cooperates with other clubs, including Hedensted Ju-Jitsu Klub, and holds joint training sessions and activities during the year
