BUDOKWAI ÖHRINGEN

Budokwai Öhringen is a martial arts club in Öhringen, Germany, founded in 1979 through the merger of a Taekwondo school and a local Ju-Jutsu association. The club offers training in Taekwondo and Ju-Jutsu for children, teenagers and adults, welcoming beginners as well as experienced practitioners. Its Taekwondo programme combines traditional practice, physical fitness and self-defence, with groups arranged by age and ability.

A talent-development approach supports age-appropriate training, and the club has developed athletes who have competed in German national and regional squads. Members have earned 16 medals at world and European championships representing the German national team. Ju-Jutsu training focuses on practical self-defence and individual development, with experienced instructors preparing students for belt examinations.

Members can also attend in-house, regional and national training courses, and exchange sessions with partner clubs. The club runs beginner courses throughout the year and offers self-defence courses specifically for women. Social activities, including celebrations, excursions, an annual showcase and an Alpine hiking weekend, complement its regular training programme
