Bud is an iPhone budgeting app designed to make managing everyday spending quick and low-pressure. Users can log an expense by entering an amount and confirming it, or use the iPhone Action Button to record spending without opening the app. Bud’s built-in AI assistant, Buddy, automatically categorises expenses, helps users monitor budgets, answers money questions in plain language, and can split bills with friends.

Bud supports equal, percentage, and custom expense splits, with live balances and polite payment reminders. Users can also bring unsettled balances over from Splitwise. Alongside shared expenses, the app helps track personal spending and offers insights such as how much was spent on a category during the month or how much lifestyle budget remains.

Bud is free to download from the App Store, and users can track expenses, split bills, and chat with Buddy without paying to get started. The app does not connect to bank accounts or request bank logins or card details.
