BürgerBus Aichwald

BürgerBus Aichwald is a local community bus service focused on connecting people and supporting mobility across Aichwald and nearby areas. Over the past six years, it has become an established part of everyday travel for residents, helping passengers reach the town centre for errands, attend medical appointments and visit other districts. Its current timetable includes service between Lobenrot and Schanbach, covering some routes previously operated by Fischle; Fischle continues to provide student transport during the morning hours.

A connection with bus line 114 has also contributed to increased passenger numbers. The BürgerBus Aichwald website provides practical information for passengers, including current service updates and the timetable, as well as details about the organisation, its board and drivers. Visitors can also find information on membership, the association’s statutes, the regional association, advertising partners and sponsors.

The service welcomes community participation and offers contact details for enquiries. By providing local connections, BürgerBus Aichwald helps residents travel between neighbourhoods and access important destinations
