Builders Trading Cooperative is a locally owned building-supply co-op serving Canberra since 1966. It supplies tradies, builders, owner-builders and DIY customers, and welcomes the general public even without a trade account. Its range covers core building materials and products, including timber, plasterboard, cladding, trims, cement, doors, skylights and hardware. Customers can request special orders and sourcing for specific materials, place orders, and seek materials quotes.

The co-op highlights its member-focused model: it is not a corporate franchise, and member profits are returned through annual rebates and dividends. Its team offers trade expertise and technical knowledge to assist with project take-offs. For local projects, Builders Trading provides rapid delivery of stocked items using its dedicated crane-truck fleet.

Based at 31 Yallourn Street in Fyshwick, the business serves the Canberra region from Monday to Friday. Its combination of building supplies, specialist assistance and delivery services makes it a resource for both trade professionals and serious home renovators.
