About Build Your Own Clone
Build Your Own Clone (BYOC) is a well-established brand in the field of DIY guitar effects pedals and amplifiers. Founded by Keith Vonderhulls in 2004 as a hobby on his kitchen table, BYOC has grown rapidly over the years. Originally offering only three kits - Fuzz Face, Tonebender, and Rangemaster clone with point-to-point eyelet boards - BYOC now boasts a diverse range of over 80 different DIY effects and amplifier kits.
BYOC's mission since its inception remains unchanged: to create products that surpass the standards of big-name boutique versions in both tone and quality. The brand takes pride in delivering complete stompboxes and amps that meet the needs of guitarists and musicians. As the pioneer in this niche market, BYOC has earned its reputation as the king of DIY guitar effects pedal kits.
With a distribution network spanning the globe and nearly 100,000 kits sold worldwide, BYOC continues to set the gold standard for DIY effects and amplifiers. Join the BYOC community today and discover the joy of crafting your own professional-grade guitar effects and amplifiers
