Buitengewoon Kids is a child and family therapy and support provider focused on helping children develop confidence, resilience, and social-emotional skills. It offers experiential therapy and guidance for children and their parents, with individual programmes and small-group options tailored to each child’s interests and developmental stage. Support can address self-esteem, trust, emotional regulation, trauma, social skills, and setting and respecting personal boundaries.

A free, 60-minute introductory meeting helps families discuss their needs and consider suitable support. Programmes may generally be reimbursed with a referral from a doctor or area team in Friesland; payment through a personal budget may also be possible
