About Bulamu Access Foundation Uganda🇺🇬
Bulamu Access Foundation (BAF) is a Ugandan-based non-profit organization dedicated to improving healthcare access and services in rural communities. Established in 2014 and officially registered in 2019, BAF focuses on strengthening community participation in combating maternal mortality and enhancing access to healthcare and Medicare services. The foundation offers various initiatives, including maternal and child health improvement, sexual and reproductive health education for adolescents, and reducing unsafe abortions and early pregnancies.
BAF is committed to empowering women and girls through education and livelihood programs. They provide essential services such as sexual and reproductive health care, antenatal and postnatal care, as well as HIV/STDs prevention, testing, and management. Through outreach, advocacy, and free treatment sessions, BAF promotes equitable and sustainable community health.
