**Bulandshahr District**
Bulandshahr District, located in the Meerut region of Uttar Pradesh, boasts a rich historical legacy that dates back to before 1200 B.C. Near the ancient capitals of Indraprasth and Hastinapur, Bulandshahr, meaning "high city," emerged as a significant site during the reign of the Pandavas. The district features ancient ruins and artifacts from various eras, including statues and coins preserved in the Lucknow State Museum.
Geographically, Bulandshahr is bounded by the Ganga and Yamuna rivers, making it a land of lush surroundings and significant historical landmarks. It spans approximately 84 km in length and 62 km in breadth, with notable locations like Ahar and the remnants of forts erected by ancient kings.
