Bumi Toys

Bumi Toys is a small Bengaluru-based studio creating playful wooden toys for children aged one and up. A brand of Nala Toys India LLP, it works with toy makers in Channapatna, Karnataka, a town with a tradition of wooden toy-making spanning more than 200 years. Bumi’s aim is to make toys that delight children from their first day of play and remain engaging as they grow.

The collection combines familiar wooden play with inventive features. Examples include a tempo traveller that can be reconfigured as a fire truck, a set of seven miniature croquet arches, and an egg toy containing a smaller egg. Bumi designs toys with more than one way to play, inviting children to explore through looking, touching, or both, and to engage at their own pace.

Bumi Toys also offers free colouring pages. Its online shop is described as opening soon, with early-access sign-up available by email or WhatsApp.
