About Bundespreis Ecodesign
The Bundespreis Ecodesign, the highest state award for ecological design in Germany, recognizes sustainable and excellently designed products, services, and concepts. Developed, promoted, and conducted by the Goethe-Institut Paris, this prestigious award highlights outstanding design that is environmentally friendly and forward-thinking. As part of the Paris Design Week, our traveling exhibition will be inaugurated at the Goethe-Institut Paris on September 8th.
We are delighted to be a part of the German-French exchange with the current winners of the Bundespreis Ecodesign. Following the jury's decision on this year's nominees and winners, around 150 projects approved by the jury will be made accessible to the public through an exhibition starting on September 30th. The exhibition will commence with a ceremonial vernissage the previous evening.
Who will be nominated for the Bundespreis Ecodesign 2023 and who will ultimately receive the award? These decisions will be made by a nine-member jury of renowned design and environmental experts on September 25th and 26th.
