Bunkers in Baghdad is a remarkable brand that is dedicated to supporting our soldiers stationed in Iraq and Afghanistan. Founded by Joe Hanna, Bunkers in Baghdad collects and ships new and used golf balls and golf clubs to provide stress relief and recreation for our troops. Since its inception in 2008, Bunkers in Baghdad has sent over 14 million golf balls and 1 million clubs to 76 countries and all 50 states.
This extraordinary program extends its reach beyond active-duty soldiers, as it also supports injured veterans in Wounded Warriors programs, military installations, and VA hospitals across the United States. Bunkers in Baghdad even contributes to therapy programs for the families of wounded troops. Operating as a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) public charity, Bunkers in Baghdad relies solely on donations to cover equipment, shipping, and packaging costs.
The brand welcomes individuals and organizations to get involved as fundraising partners to support this noble mission. The dedication and generosity of numerous supporters and partnering companies, such as Callaway Golf and Topgolf, have made Bunkers in Baghdad's mission possible. Join Bunkers in Baghdad today and make a difference in the lives of our servicemen and women
