Wallingford BunkFest

Wallingford BunkFest is a vibrant and inclusive community festival that offers a unique and family-friendly celebration for all. Located on the banks of the Thames in South Oxfordshire, this free-access festival has something for everyone. With its 21st year approaching in 2023, BunkFest has grown from its humble beginnings in a pub car park to fill the KineCroft and entertain throughout Wallingford, including the River Thames and Bunk Railway line.

BunkFest is organized and operated entirely by volunteers, with no funding or assistance from the local authority. To maintain this fantastic free festival, they rely on generous support. By enjoying the festival's offerings, including purchasing their beer and food or making a donation, you can contribute to its success.

For those attending, well-behaved dogs are welcome on the Kinecroft, and camping options are available, although space is limited. While the festival is free, donations are encouraged to help cover the costs of the event. Thirsty attendees can enjoy the free water stations located throughout the festival grounds.

Additionally, the festival shop offers a variety of merchandise, including t-shirts, festival programs, and lost property services. Getting to BunkFest is easy, with options such as catching a train on the Bunk Line from Cholsey to Wallingford or utilizing the Park and Ride service. The festival also provides limited disabled parking for those in need.

There are public bus services available, and visitors are encouraged to avoid parking in residential areas to ensure a positive experience for all. Experience the magic of Wallingford BunkFest, support this incredible community event, and enjoy a weekend filled with unforgettable memories
