Bunkrák

BUNKRÁK z. s. organizes Bunkrák, a summer camp for children and teenagers built around military history, outdoor skills and airsoft activities.

Its main program is designed for participants aged 9 to 17, with younger campers considered if they can manage the activities, and former participants aged 18 or older also welcomed. The camp combines historically inspired missions with traditional camp games, survival training, navigation, night activities and time for rest. Participants learn about the real events and units behind each mission, develop practical specializations such as first aid, communications, cooking and tactics, and can take part in shooting and obstacle-course competitions.

The 2026 session, scheduled for July 4–18 in Soseň, Czechia, follows the 101st Airborne Division’s 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment during the Second World War, with activities inspired by campaigns including Normandy, the Netherlands and Bastogne. The fee covers cabin accommodation, meals and drinks, facilities, programming and a basic supply of airsoft ammunition. BUNKRÁK also holds outdoor and airsoft events during the year, and publishes camp chronicles and participant information online
