Buona Tavola is a Northern Italian restaurant in Paso Robles, California, offering a fine-dining experience built around seasonal ingredients and carefully prepared dishes. Opened in 1992, the restaurant grew from owner Antonio Varia’s dream, shaped by his apprenticeship in Northern Italy and further training in leading European hotels. For more than two decades, Varia has served Central Coast diners an inventive interpretation of Northern Italian cuisine.

The menu includes lunch, dinner, and dessert selections, along with a wine list and gluten-free options. Featured dishes include risotto al radicchio, linguine with mussels and leeks, tagliata di bue, and chicken with Asiago; guests can also find recipes and menu offerings such as chocolate tartufo and gianduja soufflé. Buona Tavola provides patio dining, a full-service bar, and reservations for regular dining. Its catering and special-event services accommodate gatherings ranging from intimate luncheons to private dinners for 60 guests, with patio seating and attentive service. Lunch is served on weekdays, and dinner is offered nightly at the Spring Street location.
