Burgstadtnarren

Castellauner Burgstadtnarren e.V. is a carnival association serving the Kastellaun community and helping bring the region’s traditional Fastnacht celebrations to life. Its website shares information about the association’s activities and upcoming carnival season, including a schedule of important local events. For the 2026 season, the group is preparing a guide to Kastellaun’s carnival dates and inviting participants to help shape the annual parade, planned for February 15, 2026.

Individuals and groups can register to take part with a walking group or a themed float, with or without an accompanying vehicle. The registration form collects practical details such as the group’s name and motto, participant numbers, float dimensions, music plans, construction location and year, and a contact person’s details. The association says each registered group will receive a personal response and confirmation by email, and that the parade route will be shared once finalized. It also provides supporting documents for parade participants and contact information for questions. Through these activities, Castellauner Burgstadtnarren supports a lively, inclusive celebration of local carnival traditions.
