Burks Whitetails is a family-owned and operated hunting outfitter and high-fence preserve nestled along the Red River in southern Oklahoma. Established in 2006, the ranch serves hunters from southern Oklahoma and North Texas, offering trophy whitetail hunts in native habitat that ranges from hardwood shelter belts to sandy creek bottoms. Its carefully managed herd is intended to provide opportunities to pursue mature bucks with strong mainframes and long tines.
Hunting options include fully guided and semi-guided whitetail hunts, as well as spot-and-stalk experiences for a more challenging pursuit. The ranch accommodates archery, rifle, and muzzleloader hunting. Its website also lists hunts for elk, axis deer, and fallow deer, along with lodging information.
Beyond hunting, Burks Whitetails offers Red River airboat rides and bow-fishing trips. Bow-fishing excursions include gear and are described as four hours, with additional time available for an extra charge. The outfitter aims to make visits enjoyable and memorable, and provides trip-planning information for prospective guests.
