Burlington Trailways was a family-owned Midwest motorcoach company based in Burlington, Iowa, serving travelers, schools, teams, and businesses for more than 40 years. Founded in 1982, it provided transportation services across the country, including group bus tours and private charters, with an emphasis on safe, comfortable travel and dependable service. The company also operated a full-service fleet care business, offering diesel repair, collision repair, and custom paint work for motorcoaches and commercial vehicles.
Its website also listed buses, commercial vehicles, non-commercial vehicles, inventory, and miscellaneous items for sale. Burlington Trailways ceased intercity bus operations in September 2025 and closed its shop services on December 31, 2025, while completing projects into 2026. The company has thanked its loyal customers for their support and for the time they shared.
Its history reflects a long-standing role in regional motorcoach transportation and vehicle services, although its listed travel and shop operations have now ended
