The Erythromelalgia Association

The Erythromelalgia Association (TEA) is a support and information organization for people affected by erythromelalgia, their families, caregivers, and healthcare providers. Its mission is to empower everyone affected by the condition to improve their quality of life. TEA offers educational resources explaining erythromelalgia, a rare neurovascular condition that can cause redness, warmth, and pain, most often in the feet but also in other areas of the body.

A central resource is TEA’s Patient’s Guide, a booklet covering symptoms, diagnosis, treatment, daily coping strategies, and other practical information for patients and those supporting them. The organization also provides frequently asked questions, medical articles, a physician directory, surveys, newsletters, member stories, and helpful links. Its website shares information about research, including a research timeline and studies, and invites visitors to support inherited erythromelalgia research through donations. TEA reports more than 2,000 members across 17 countries.
